Two people have been treated in hospital for serious injuries following a two vehicle crash in Glen Mona.

It happened at Sunday lunch time on the Main Road in the village and involved a BMW and a Honda.

Fire officers used cutting gear to free the people trapped in the cars.

The fire service say it took four hours to get the casualties out safely and clear the scene.
