Isle of Man Golf Championship moves to matchplay

Defending Champion Paul Lowey will be first away against Mark Sutton as the last 16 move into the matchplay stages at the Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Championship.

The pair will tee-off at 4.30pm at Douglas Golf Club.

Next away will be Alex McCauley against 7-time winner Julian Sutton who came through qualifying on Saturday after a play-off.

Neil Caine faces 2000 finalist Mark Curphey.

One of the best looking games features 2004 Champion Kevin Moore against Andrew Challenor.

2010 title holder Daryl Callister tackles 2001 runner-up Richard Skillicorn.

2008 winner Jonathon Corke meets Peter Glover.

The man who won the Championship when it was last at Douglas is Mike Rae and be faces the challenge of talented youngster Herman Loubser.

The final pairing is Liam Cowin against leading qualifier Tom Gandy.
