Lowey through to Quarter-Finals

Defending Champion Paul Lowey is through to the quarter-finals of the Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Championship.

He beat Mark Sutton 3&2 at Douglas last night.

The were big wins for Neil Caine who defeated Mark Curphey 7&6 and young talent Herman Loubser who saw off the challenge of Mike Rae 8&6

Closer finishes and wins for Julian Sutton and Jonathan Corke who won by 1 hole against Alex McAuley and Peter Glover respectively.

Leading qualifier Tom Gandy enjoyed a 4&2 win over Liam Cowin, Kevin Moore beat Andrew Challenor 4&2 and Richard Skillicorn defeated Darryl Callister 2up

The quarter finals are on at Douglas this evening starting at 4.30pm:-
Paul Lowey v Julian Sutton
Neil Caine v Kevin Moore
Richard Skillicorn v Jonathan Corke
Herman Loubser v Tom Gandy
