On 16th April 2013 an Operation was carried out by the Pro Active Team in the Douglas area. This Operation resulted in a Male being arrested at his home address for serious drug related offences. As a result of the investigation a large quantity of Cocaine was seized with an Isle of Man Street value of ?23,819.00.
On Tuesday 18th June 2013, Shaun Anthony Bartlett, a 28 year old male local male was charged with serious drug offences.
Detective Sergeant Paul HOLLAND of the Pro Active Team stated “The Team continues to successfully remove Class A controlled drugs from the Streets of the Isle of Man. Our main focus is protecting the public from harmful substances and targeting the criminal networks that seek to import illegal drugs.”
