Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a motorbike, which took place sometime between 7:30PM on Monday 17/06/2013 and 8:30AM on Tuesday 18/06/2013. The theft took place at Whilo’s Filling Station, Bray Hill, Douglas. The thief is believed to have wheeled the motorbike away from the area, and thought to have proceeded towards lower Douglas.
The motorbike is a blue, Suzuki Bandit, 600cc, with an additional front headlight.
Due to the location and nature of the offence, it is thought someone is likely to have witnessed this event taking place.
Police are anxious to hear from persons who may have information which could assist in furthering their investigations and would urge any person who noticed suspicious activity in the area between the stated times, to make contact.
Enquires are ongoing into this matter and Police will be eager to speak with witnesses. Additionally, crime prevention advice can be made available to you, via your local Police Station.
