by isleofman.com 20th June 2013

Items have been removed from a small green coloured boat in a secure compound in Douglas Boatyard, Battery Pier. This has happened around April and May time of this year.

The items include: A silver coloured Yamaha 15 hp outboard motor, a 25ltr petrol tank, 2 wooden oars, 2 red lifejackets, the steering gear and hydraulic systems, a steering wheel, a throttle control, a VHF radio set, a Hummingbird Fish-finder, a small solar panel and a leisure battery.

It would have taken a considerable amount of time to un-install these items from the boat. It is not clear at this stage if the items have been stolen or removed in error. We are seeking anyone with information as to the whereabouts of these items to contact us as soon as possible.

Any information please to PC 308 Reekie at Lord Street Police Station.
