by isleofman.com 20th June 2013

Senior government officials and Manx Radio trustees will give evidence this afternoon (Thurs) as the future of public service broadcasting in the Island continues to be assessed.

Chief executive of the Department of Economic Development, Chris Corlett, and Treasury’s financial controller, Clive McGreal, will appear before a Tynwald select committee at two thirty.

They will be followed an hour later by Caroline Convery, chairman of the Manx Radio Trust, and trustee Chris Tunley.

The committee, which was set up to examine the policy, delivery, cost and scope of public service broadcasting, will meet in public in the Legislative Council Chamber on Bucks Road in Douglas.
