Spectacular Santon fundraiser

If sipping a sundowner on the terrace of one of the Island's most spectatular homes sounds like bliss - a fundraising event this Friday could be for you.

The Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association is to host a drinks party on the longest day at Arragon Mooar in Santon, the home of inventor and horologist, Island businessman Dr John Taylor.

Guests will be offered tours of the house and grounds and be shown some of Dr Taylor's unique collection of time pieces.

Funds raised on the night will help the association continue funding cancer research and helping Island cancer patients.

The charity's Theresa Grainger says it's a wonderful venue to raise the profile of an important cause:
