No plans to publish HIV figures says Minister

by isleofman.com 21st June 2013

The Health Minister insists there are no plans to publish local HIV figures, despite pressure from the Island’s HIV Support Group.

There’s been criticism after David Anderson said his department had no plans to make the statistics public.

That has prompted the support group expressing their disappointment to the Terrence Higgins Trust - a British charity that campaigns on various issues related to AIDS and HIV.

However, Mr Anderson say the department’s position may yet be reassessed.
