Harris launches title defence

Emma Harris has made a winning start to her bid for a sixth successive Island women’s golf championship.

The 17 year-old topped the leaderboard at a blustery Ramsey to qualify for Tuesday’s knockout stage.

Joy Morris and Shirley Glover completed the top three qualifiers on a day when players had to battle the elements.

The next round tomorrow (Tuesday) tees off from 5pm at 10 minute intervals.
