Plan to end all free airport parking

by isleofman.com 24th June 2013

Those collecting and dropping-off passengers at Ronaldsway Airport are about to lose their free one hour parking - unless they object quickly!

Free one-hour parking will end from a week today (July 1) - including the one hour disc zone – and will be replaced by a ?1 charge.

Passenger watchdog Travel Watch is urging infrastructure chiefs to justify the move and defer the decision for a full consultation.

It plans to meet airport management on Thursday and says no longer having a designated area for short term free parking represents a change of policy.

Anyone wishing to object has to write to the Airport Standards Manager by this Friday (June 28).
