Armed Forces Day for the whole community

Final preparations are being made for Armed Forces Day – which will be officially marked on Sunday (June 30).

A procession along Douglas Promenade will see comrades of conflicts past and present honoured before a service at the Villa Marina.

Chairman of the armed forces day committee, Brigadier Norman Butler, says it’s important servicemen and women of all ages are remembered by old and young alike.
