Police appeal after criminal damage at KWC Cricket Pavilion

by isleofman.com 26th June 2013

Between 4pm last Friday (21st June) and 8am last Saturday (22nd June) ten to fifteen windows were damaged at the cricket pavilion at King Williams College.

This is a real shame and will now cost an educational establishment, that hosts sporting events for local schools as well as further afield, significantly to replace these windows.

PC Kieran Callister of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team would be grateful for any help that could be given to identify those responsible.
Sergeant Paul Kemp said, “Not only is this a criminal matter but somebody could have been seriously hurt and potentially a young child at that”. damage appears to have been done by young people and we would be really grateful for any help that could be given to identify those responsible; if nothing else than to try to prevent a young person or people going off the rails and their crimes escalating in the future.

We will obviously be enhancing our patrols in the area and surrounding as not only is this a criminal matter but somebody could have been seriously hurt.

If you have any information no matter how insignificant that you may think it is, you can either contact us directly on 822222/832222/631212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. damage appears to have been done by young people and we would be really grateful for any help that could be given to identify those responsible; if nothing else than to try to prevent a young person or people going off the rails and their crimes escalating in the future.
