On behalf of Douglas Borough Council Douglas Mayor Councillor Carol Malarkey has received an album of illuminated addresses created by celebrated local artist Colleen Corlett to mark the local authority’s bestowal of the Honorary Freedom of the Borough on 13 recipients.
Council leader Councillor David Christian explained: ‘The illuminated addresses play a central role in the Freedom of the Borough ceremonies. They not only reflect the diverse achievements of the recipients but are also magnificent pieces of creative art for the freemen and their families to cherish.
