Unemployment measures to 'weed out' undeserving causes

New measures are on the way, designed both to encourage the long term unemployed and penalise those who are not following job seeker regulations.

It is part of a raft of proposals to restrict benefits to those who are truly in need.

Minister Chris Robertshaw says the 'tougher system' is designed to weed out undeserving cases.
