Vision 2020 unveiled

A new strategy to build the Manx economy for the future has been unveiled by the Chief Minister.

Vision 2020 aims to identify the opportunities and challenges facing the Isle of Man in the decade ahead.

Allan Bell is asking Island businesses to help map-out a clear vision of where growth and diversity will come from.

Firms will be asked their views in an online survey, with input also gathered through professional bodies and the Chamber of Commerce.

The 2020 initiative follows on from a similar project Economy 2014, which began 10 years earlier.

Mr Bell says government's doing what it can to create a business-friendly environment - but needs to draw on private sector expertise:
