Plenty on in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 1st July 2013

It’s day four of Ramsey National Week.

Children from Scoill Ree Gorree will be performing outside the town’s courthouse at 1pm at the first of three 'Kids at the Courthouse' events.

Two fascinating displays are also open at Ramsey Town Hall.

The first focuses on the Manx-built vessel Star of India - believed to be the oldest active sailing ship in the world – which was constructed in Ramsey and launched 150 years ago.

The second features photos from the women’s air force from their days based at Jurby Training Camp.

You can also take part in a Ramsey photograph quiz with vouchers to be won.

Entry forms are available from Ramsey Town Hall or on the Ramseynationalweek.com
