Kniveton takes over at DCCL

Colin Kniveton is the new Chief Executive of the Department of Community Culture and Leisure.
It follows the appointment of Nick Black as Chief Executive at the Department of Infrastructure.
Mr Kniveton is taking on the role in addition to his current position under the Business Change Steering Group supporting the Scope of Government review of public services.
DCCL Minister Graham Cregeen says Mr Kniveton has relevant former experience of the role, as he stepped in to serve as Chief Executive of the former Department of Tourism and Leisure between 2008 and 2009, whilst still Chief Exec at the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
