Pleas for Promenade work should go ahead without delay

by isleofman.com 10th July 2013
There have been pleas from members of Tynwald for the Department of Infrastructure to get on with work improving Douglas Promenade.
Members were debating a request from Minister David Cretney to spend ?1.7 million on the road between the Sea Terminal and the Jubilee Clock.
It’s the first phase of a scheme that will eventually cover the entire length of the promenade.
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan was just one member who wanted the rest of the road done soon.
