Vote of no confidence in Health Minister fails

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has failed in an attempt to pass a vote of no confidence in the Health Minister.
It’s after David Anderson MHK told Tynwald he’d referred himself to the court’s standards committee over allegations he’d misled members – saying he’d resign if that was the case.
But this afternoon as the court resumed, Mrs Beecroft tried to table a motion to the court which would have seen a vote on Mr Anderson.
She didn’t receive the required support however, and so the motion wasn’t put to the court.
