Could Douglas have its own Speakers' Corner?

Could the Isle of Man follow London, Leeds, Nottingham and Worthing by having its own Speakers’ Corner?
The idea’s being put forward by Douglas Council’s Regeneration and Community Advisory Committee.
It would see a site in Douglas set aside for those who wanted to get on their soapbox and speak their minds.
Committee chairman councillor Stephen Pitts says he thinks it’s a good idea:
