Road closures in Onchan

by isleofman.com 10th July 2013
A main road through Onchan is closed for three days from today (Wednesday).

Governor's Road will be closed between its junctions with Blackberry Lane and Wybourn Drive from 9.30am until no later than 4.30pm on Friday (July 12).

A signed diversion will be in place with all traffic being diverted via Summerhill Road and Blackberry Lane.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes if possible.

The closure is to allow the Water Authority to complete work to replace a 12 inch diameter cast iron pipeline which was laid in the 1890s.
