Golden night for Halsall in pool

Grant Halsall added two more golds in the pool last night to take the Isle of Man to 19 golds overall and still top of the medal table at the NatWest Island Games.
He won the 200 metre backstroke final by nearly three seconds and the 100 metre Individual Medley by over a second.
Afterwards he revealed he had dedicated himself to performing at the top of his game in Bermuda.
Charlotte Atkinson and Laura Kinley also won silvers at the swimming.
There will be an all-Manx mixed doubles final on Friday after Billy Harris and Laura Feely defeated a pair from Gibraltar in the semi-finals - Mark Chinn and Karen Faragher got the better of their opponents from Aland.
On the track, Ollie Lockley picked up a silver in the 5,000 metres.
Elliot Baxter claimed silver in the cross country criterium to help the mountain bike team to bronze.
The Manx tally stands at 19 golds, 21 silver and 15 bronze.
Jersey are second on 15 golds followed by Guernsey on 14.
