Chief minister pays tribute to Island Games team

The Chief Minister says the Isle of Man’s medal haul at the Natwest Island Games in Bermuda has been outstanding.

He paid tribute to the team, which is bringing back 97 medals despite being around half its usual size.

Allan Bell says the success of Manx competitors shows how the Isle of Man punches above its weight when it comes to sport.

And he says the young age of many competitors means we could be seeing the next generation of heroes to emulate the likes of Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh:
