Two Manx riders will feature prominately in Sunday's final stage of the Tour de France.

Team Sky rider Chris Froome assured himself of a British win for the second year in a row with a confident display on the last dangerous stage in the mountains yesterday.

Tim Glover reports:

In his debut Tour, Peter Kennaugh has played a major part in Chris Froome's victory and received many plaudits from experts.

Team Sky boss Sir David Brailsford is so impressed he has said Kennaugh could well be a future Yellow Jersey winner.

Mark Cavendish will hope to share the limelight or twilight on Sunday evening as he goes for a fifth straight win on the boulevards of the French capital.

Isle of Man cycling has never seen the like before.
