External relations 'essential' says Chief Minister

The chief minister says developing the Isle of Man’s external relationships and reputation is vital for continued economic success.

Allan Bell was speaking after the Island hosted visits from Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond and international delegates from the Small Countries Financial Management Programme.

Mr Bell says forging further links with Scotland is important, whatever ends up happening with its bid for independence:
