Survey finds kids prefer outdoor play

by isleofman.com 26th July 2013

A survey held by the Island's Children's Centre shows children would play outdoors if they were given the choice.

More than 70% of the 2,000 youngsters said they'd prefer to be climbing trees than watching TV.

The centre launched its "Out To Play" scheme earlier this week and the team will hold more than 50 play sessions across the Island over the summer holiday.

Play Development Officer Chris Gregory says giving kids the chance to enjoy the outdoors is extremely important:Clip 1
