Government to work with business on bribery legislation

by isleofman.com 1st August 2013
A guidance document on the forthcoming Bribery Act is to go out to local companies and the public to help them do business competitively and fairly.
The consultation is being run by the Department of Home Affairs, which is introducing the legislation to keep the Isle of Man at the forefront of international standards.
It will also allow procedures to be put in place in advance to avoid committing an offence.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson says he doesn't believe there is a bribery problem on the Isle of Man, but the Act will demonstrate the Island is against corruption and supports fair trade:-
