Police appeal after TT signs stolen

by isleofman.com 2nd August 2013
Police are appealing for witnesses to several incidents of theft of TT information/warning signs from locations around the TT course between 10th June 2013 and 18th July 2013. The signs were stolen from CRONK Y VODDY OUTSIDE LAMBFELL BEG, KERROWMOAR ADJACENT TO ROLLICK ROAD, THE BALLAHUTCHIN JUST PAST TROLLABY LANE, KATES COTTAGE NEAR TO KEPPEL GATE and BRADDAN BRIDGE OUTSIDE THE RUGBY CLUB ENTRANCE.

Constable Moore of Lord Street Police station said: “These signs may have been taken by over enthusiastic TT fans as souvenirs but they are an important early warning to visitors who may be unfamiliar with the layout of the road and their removal is potentially hazardous to new visitors using our roads”.

Anyone with information regarding this incident please contact PC Moore at Lord Street Police Station or Police Headquarters on 631212.
