We caught up with Ariana, LMF LMF’s newly appointed Fashion Intern, who gave us a behind the scenes low down on their latest fashion photo shoot for new Motel Rocks collection of dresses.
Ariana said, “Last Sunday (Sunday 21st July to be exact!) was a very exciting day for all of us involved here at Love My Figure, Love My Fashion. Not only was it time for the second photo shoot for LMF, LMF, involving a capsule collection of Motel Rocks dresses, but it was also my first time working for LMF LMF as a Fashion Intern!
Needless to say, I was so eager to get started and I’m honestly over the moon (as I’m sure the rest of the team are) at how successful the whole day was; everything went smoothly and according to plan!
Before the models, photographer and team of make-up artists and hair stylists arrived, Laura (the Managing Director) and I had the chance to explore the location and I honestly couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was! When we arrived it was slightly overcast but the grounds of the house, located in Maughold, were totally idyllic. There were so many amazing features; the waterfall, the mini planked pier (with boat!) and the ivy trellising to name only a few, and they only looked even more stunning once the sun came out just in time to start shooting!
I managed to get some behind the scenes shots from all aspects of the photo shoot to try and show all the hard work and prep that goes into getting those few final images for the online dress shop! You can see these on our blog section of www.lmflmf.co.uk.
Once the dresses were handed out it was straight to hair and make-up for the models! Not only do you have to think about what style you’re going for with each shot, but you also have to think about what style of make-up would suit both the look of the shot, the actual dress and of course the models themselves!
