New club 'Tahiko' to open this weekend

by isleofman.com 2nd August 2013

The Sefton Group is excited to bring a new kind of club to the Isle of Man, with the opening of ‘Tahiko’ at the beginning of August.

Located at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino in Douglas, Tahiko promises to redefine the clubbing experience for Island residents, with the club opening to the public on August 3rd.

Exotic cocktails and ‘Wow Factor’ sharer cocktails will be on offer across two rooms – the main Tahiko Club room and the Red Room – each with its own DJ, and visitors can feel like stars as they are photographed by the Saturday Night Paparazzi, with images posted on the Tahiko website.

The club will open every Friday and Saturday night from 10.00pm until 3.00am, and is available for private hire Sunday to Thursday each week.

A competition to mark the launch of Tahiko offers customers the chance to win a trip to Alton Towers for four people. The winner will receive a return ferry journey, coach transfers from the ferry terminal to the theme park, and four park tickets for the trip on September 1st, 2013. To enter, email your name, mobile number and date of birth to tahiko@palacehotel.co.im and come along to Tahiko on Friday, August 23rd when the winner will be revealed!

Nicola Wilkinson, Sefton Group Marketing Manager, said: ‘We are incredibly pleased to be opening Tahiko at the beginning of next month, and hope that clubbing fans will be as excited as we are. The new club offers a fantastic experience unlike anything else currently available on the Island, and we look forward to seeing as many visitors as possible at our opening night on August 3rd!’
