Tributes paid to Colin Fenton

by isleofman.com 6th August 2013
Tributes are being paid to a motorbike racer and journalist who died last week.

Colin Fenton, of Church Street in Peel, began his journalism career in Oxford and was almost arrested when he scooped the world by beating the police to the hideout of the Great Train Robbers in the 1960s.

He raced in the Manx Grand Prix, coming fourth in 1965, and later became a marshal in sector five after retiring.

International journalist Nick Harris says Mr Fenton was full of fun:Clip 1
