Weeds measures 'sensible', says MNFU president

Changes to the way cushag and other injurious weeds are managed have been welcomed by the president of the Manx National Farmers' Union.
The Weeds Act has been amended, so it will only be an offence now if you fail to control weeds once a notice has been issued by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
In addition the 'Cushag Code' has been developed, offering advice on the best ways to deal with it.
