Low cost housing the priority

A civic head says the need for low-cost housing in the area remains of paramount importance.

Port Erin Commissioners last week outlined a range of concerns within plans to develop 156 homes at Ballakilley.

However, chairman Lorna McKellar says the local authority has always backed the scheme’s requirement for first-time buyer properties.Clip 1
