Isle of Man Festival - Refunds

by isleofman.com 9th August 2013
Following the cancellation of the Isle of Man Festival, the Office of Fair Trading (The Office) has received a small number of enquiries from consumers for advice on obtaining refunds.

We have since become aware from a number of those individuals that refund has been obtained seemingly leaving only those who paid using the PayPal system experiencing a delay.

The Office has already enquired of the organiser as to the reasons for the delay and has been informed that all efforts are being made to resolve the issue with PayPal and that the intention is still to refund all those who purchased tickets.

The organiser has provided a dedicated e-mail address for those wishing to speak to the them directly on this matter: rockingmann@manx.net

The Office will continue to monitor the situation. Individuals seeking further advice may wish to contact the Office on 686500.
