Busy 24 hours for Douglas RNLI

by isleofman.com 11th August 2013
Douglas RNLI capped a busy day when they were called out for a second time within 24 hours yesterday afternoon (Saturday).

The all-weather lifeboat Sir William Hillary was launched to help a local vessel with two crew and seven other people on board which had broken down just off Port Soderick.

The vessel was towed back to Douglas and berthed at the visitor’s pontoon on the Battery Pier to discharge its passengers.
