When will work begin?

Work on the old Villiers site needs to begin soon.

That's the message from the leader of Douglas Council who says the area is an eye-sore on the capital's promenade.

Insurance firm AXA owns the site and released plans earlier this year for a residential and retail development to be built in the near future.

David Christian says there aren't many signs the work is getting underway and relations with the company haven't always been productive:Clip 1
