Have your say on building regs

by isleofman.com 12th August 2013
If you want to have your say on planned changes to building regulations in the Island, today (Monday) is your final chance.

A consultation run by the Department of Infrastructure will close at tea time.

Political member with responsibility, MHK Laurence Skelly, says it’s part of a measured approach to determine a level of appropriate and reasonable regulations, raising standards of workmanship, thermal efficiency of buildings and service delivery to Island residents.

Water efficiency and crime detection and prevention also feature in the proposals.

Submissions should be sent to the department’s building control manager at Murray House, Mount Havelock, Douglas, or via email to Siamack.Rowaichi@gov.im
