Cal Crutchlow says he is looking forward to the second half of the MotoGP season.

The Ramsey resident is competing in America on Sunday at the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.

He is currently in fifth position in the 18-round championship and just one point behind nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi.

Earlier this month Crutchlow signed for the factory Ducati team for the next two seasons.

But he says in the meantime he's determined to carry on grabbing podium finishes with current team Monster Tech 3 Yamaha.
