Police appeal after pushchair taken in Castletown

by isleofman.com 15th August 2013
Between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday 3rd August 2013, a navy blue collapsible ‘Hauck’ babies pushchair was taken from the entrance way to a flat in Arbory Street, Castletown.  Also on this pram was a ‘George pig’  back pack containing babies nappies and other items.

The street and town was very busy at the time being Castletown Carnival and officers would like to trace this pram and backpack in order to return it to the owner.  This is an particularly horrible crime as there is now a young child temporarily without a pram which caused great difficulties and upset for the parents who were simply trying to enjoy a family day out which was spoiled by this matter.
