Chief Minister not surprised by Irish Bank's move

by isleofman.com 18th August 2013

Alan Bell says he’s not surprised by the announcement that Bank of Ireland is to wind down its subsidiary in the Island in 12 months time.
The group is closing its Isle of Man branch after a strategic review – following the path of Allied Irish which will pull out of the Island at the end of this year.

Mr Bell said it is disappointing but reflects the country’s financial position.
