Three in a row for Peel RNLI

by isleofman.com 19th August 2013

Having already had two calls last week Peel RNLI lifeboat was called out again on Friday (16th August) for a third time.

At 6.30pm Peel RNLI lifeboat “Ruby Clery” was called to assist a local yacht with two people on board which had encountered total drive failure. The yacht was about 1.5 miles North East off Peel when the lifeboat under the command of coxswain John Hunter took the yacht in tow and returned to the inner harbour at Peel at about 7-.0pm. Both on board the yacht were unhurt.
