Puppies almost ready for action!

by isleofman.com 21st August 2013
Three members of the Island's Constabulary are due to move to Cumbria police force next month - three of the canine variety that is!

A trio of dogs from Penrith are due to retire and will be replaced by pups from the Isle of Man.

The German shepherds will begin work in four weeks' time and it's part of an ongoing link-up between the two forces.

PC Glenn Myerscough from Cumbria police's dog unit says it's great to be able to continue a positive working relationship with the Island.
