Visiting biker dies following RTC on Douglas Promenade

At approximately 1.55pm on Thursday 22nd August 2013, a serious Road Traffic Collision occurred on Central Promenade, Douglas, near to Castle Mona Shops. Involved in the collision were three local motor cars and a motor cycle, being ridden by a visiting 51 year old male from Scotland.
 
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but died in the early hours of Friday morning.
 
The police are eager to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision occur and also those who may have been parked in the area of the shops at the time of the collision.
