A keen interest in Manx traditions and enjoying ‘a great day out’ have earned Kay Hullock ?100, after she won this year’s President’s Tynwald Day quiz.
Miss Hullock, 22, a marketing administrator with Royal London 360° said: ‘I moved to the Island from Leeds in 1997, since when I’ve always enjoyed Tynwald Day at St John’s as it makes for a great day out. It was a lovely surprise to receive the call telling me I’d won the quiz because I’ve recently bought a new first-time buyer property in Colby so the money will come in really useful.’
