Police confirm identity of man who died at campsite

Police are now able to confirm the details of the man who was found dead at a campsite in Peel around 2.40pm on Sunday the 25th August 2013 as being that of Christopher Jerdan (33 years) from the Northumberland area. Following enquiries made, Mr Jerdan was found to have died from natural causes.
 
Detective Sergeant Neil Craig, who is dealing with the matter said, “I can confirm that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Jerdan’s death and I would like to extend my sympathies to his family at this extremely difficult and distressing time, and also thank all the people who have assisted Mr Jerdan’s friends and relatives who have travelled to the island”.
