Chamber calls for more parking to boost high street

The head of the Island’s Chamber of Commerce says parking in the capital has to be improved.
Jane Dellar says it’s imperative more spaces are provided in Douglas to avoid further downturn in the high street.
She also urged retail unit landlords to negotiate sensible rents.
Ms Dellar was speaking on the day another shop unit becomes dormant with the closure of fashion retailer Internacionale in Strand Street in Douglas:
