Grand opening of Tommy Clucas Memorial Hall this weekend

The whole of Peel’s been invited to see the fruits of a nine-year fundraising campaign.

On Sunday, the Tommy Clucas Memorial Hall will be officially opened by the family of the late Manx Grand Prix rider and footballer it’s named after.

Tommy died during racing in 2004, and since then funds have been raised to build the hall next to Peel Football Club.

Kelvin Dawson, the chairman of the Tommy Clucas Memorial Fund, says it’s a facility for everybody to use:
