Riders take long way round

by isleofman.com 31st August 2013
Bikers are gathering in Peel this morning for the Isle of Man's answer to The Long Way Round.

A run from Peel campsite to Laxey has been organised by a group of visiting marshals - with prizes for those who cover the greatest distance between the two points in a time frame.

Signing-on is at Peel campsite from 8.30am and organsisers hope more than 100 riders will take part.

Organiser Pete Giles says the competition, which will raise cash for the MGP helicopter fund, grew out of an idea he and his friends had while enjoying their stay here:Clip 1
