School room future under spotlight

by isleofman.com 2nd September 2013
A meeting in a village in the south has suggested the Anglican Church and the Methodist Church should open discussions about sharing facilities.

It follows major problems in St Mark's over the state of the local hall (the school room) and the Church.

Both are in need of repairs but no cash is available. The suggestion is that the hall might be sold, if change of use can be obtained, and the money used to make the church into a community centre.

But a village meeting asked whether it was possible for both churches to talk about sharing the facility.

The meeting was chaired by the Archdeacon Andy Brown:Clip 1
